The Winter Ice Rink Downtown Sunnyvale will host special events throughout the holiday season. Mark your calendar and join us for these festive events:

LEARN TO SKATE

December 5, 12 and 19
11:00am - 12:00pm

Skaters with little to no experience: Come to The Winter Ice Rink Downtown Sunnyvale on December 5, 12 or 19 and learn to skate from professional skate instructors. Tickets are $20; advance sign-up is required. Space is limited to 30 participants per day. Registered skaters must check-in no later than 10:30am or spot will be released to another guest.

DOWNTOWN SUNNYVALE TREE LIGHTING

Saturday, December 4, 5:00pm

The festive lighting of the tree features live entertainment, guest appearances and lots of holiday cheer! Bring the whole family and make skating part of the fun! From 3:30pm to close, tickets are buy one, get one for 50% off!

LEARN TO CURL

November 20 and 27, December 4 and 11
11:00am - 12:00pm

Instructors from the Granite Curling Club will offer curling lessons on select Saturdays. Attendees will grab their brooms and learn the ins and outs of this fun winter sport that’s sweeping the nation. Lessons are rain or shine, and tickets are $20. Space is limited to 30 participants per session.

IHEART DJ NIGHTS

December 3, 10 and 17
6:30pm - 9:00pm

Start your weekend off with a night of ice skating to your favorite tunes! On select Fridays, these special sessions feature iHeart Radio personalities on-hand spinning hits from your favorite Bay Area stations.

THE WINTER ICE RINK DOWNTOWN SUNNYVALE OPENING CEREMONY

The Winter Ice Rink Downtown Sunnyvale will open with a special ceremony to kick off a new season of outdoor ice skating and holiday festivities. Enjoy on-ice performances, appearances from special guests and local dignitaries, a DJ and more!
