Due to the government shutdown, local families are losing food aid.

The federal shutdown that began on October 1st has suspended or reduced SNAP benefits, leaving millions of families without food assistance this November — the first time this has ever happened during a government shutdown.

With so many families in Sunnyvale raising kids, local food banks are stretched thin and need our help now. Kids should never go hungry — no matter what’s happening in politics.
